at my school, this is NOT a punishment! for us this is a reward, games are torture :p

How about if you don't cheer, you are in your uniform and sitting next to the coach. How would you feel? :-)

well my coach and I get along very well so this also would be good for me haha.

I know how to make it not fun. Especially b/c even though you get along, you shouldn't be looking at this for a way to "socialize" with your coach. My team already said, basketball games stink enough, they would feel really stupid sitting b/c people would ask why!
