Can someone explain to me how USA is scoring this year. Because my senior one team scored a 91.20 at a JAMZ competition but then only got an 86.70 at a USA competition and the routine was the entire same and everything hit better than it did at the first comp?????? We are also going to USA Nationals this year so i want to be prepared.

Not all scoresheets are the same between EPs, so that's probably why there was a difference.

Looks like JAMZ uses its own scoring system and USA uses a varsity system. Different score sheets will get different results, even with the same routine, executed in essentially the same way. That's why I'm excited our competition schedule (even between EPs) is now all on the same grid. No more changing routines between every competition to satisfy one quirky scoresheet to another.

USA is a Varsity brand company... we use the Varsity score sheet

USA is a very inconsistent company to be judged at,especially between their regional/classic events verus their national championship. Jamz is even worse. Took teams there this season and were totally put in the wrong ranges for the skills we did. Sometimes you have to challenge your scoresheets because judges miss things. Unfortunately the 1 day events don't always have the most qualified people. IMO
