This is my second year of all star cheerleading with me going from a level 3 team last year to a J6 and S5 team this year and I don’t know if I can do it. Even during a single stunt full out I can barley breath and I don’t know how I will be able to do a full out. It’s gotten to the point where during practices I feel nauseous, can’t see straight, and feel too tired to move but I keep pushing through hoping that it will get better and it won’t. I hate to back down but this is too hard for me. Any ideas that could help?

Let your parents and Coaches know how you have been feeling. You may need to get checked out by a Doctor. Also, drink lots of water/stay hydrated, make sure you are eating enough, and foods to fuel your body. If no health concerns, running is a great way to build endurance for full outs.

Thank you! I’ll try to schedule a doctor appointment and talk.

Everything the poster said above, but also for running for conditioning, try interval training. Running a slow 5km can help a little, but try for timed sprints instead. Start with 30 sec sprint, (or less if that is too much, even 15sec), and follow with a 1-2min walk/slow jog, depending on how you feel. Work to increase the time and speed of sprints and decrease the time of walk/slow jog. If you can get up to 2-2.5 mins sprint, it's a lot closer to doing a routine than a long slow jog
