I have a question, my daughter is small sr 3 and they divided into A & B. There is a total of 9 teams so I am confused on the split. Lg sr 3 has 7 teams and they aren't split. If anyone can shed some light, I would be very grateful.

sr 4 is also split into 3 groups 3, 6, and 9!! Don't know how they figure out how or if to split.

I saw that!! It really is so confusing! I looked around the website but didn't see any information. I would just like to know the reasoning.

I have no idea if this is the case here, but sometimes comps will further split by size. So like A will be small teams with 20 people and B will have less than 20. Usually there's more than 9 teams when they do that though, so idk.

it does look like they split it by numbers - 20 members in one group & under 20 in the other. i also coach a sm. jr. 3 & they split that into 3 divisions. one is 20 members, then it looks like 17-19, then under 17 in the 3rd group. some competition companies do it like that - others don't split at all. i was looking at the amount of teams that were in sm. jr. 3 at wsf nationals in Kentucky & i think there were like 31 in that division!

If I r going to split it then split it evenly. 3 and 9? How did they figure that out!

I agree that it's spilt by the amount of competitors on a team. Small J2 is split into 3 divisions. Under 15, 15-18 & 19-20.

From the posts above it sounds like it's based on the number of athletes on the team.

I just realized my CP's 1st team goes on at 9:30 am and her 2nd team goes on at 7pm. WTH I guess we'll go back to the hotel for a nap. I will NOT be staying there for 14+ hours 2 days in a row

I go through this this upcoming weekend in Worcester... CPs first team competes at 8:07 and her second team at 6:45... Here's to living in the arena for the weekend... Gotta love cheer....
