I could be wrong, but I believe Famous used to be Basic Superstars.

Yes I think so. There seems to a decent number of junior 6 as well.I see CEA bringing back Youth Elite.
I thought that became kind of obsolete with the start of JR5.
Is it becoming a viable option for kids again because of the age grid changes?
Ex: Giving more options to kids who are Worlds skilled (or close) but nowhere near Worlds eligible because of the new age grid?
Wow, that is a great turnout at the lower levels!Thunder All Stars in Canada is growing and we're so excited! This year we're offering:
Tiny Prep
Youth Prep
Junior Prep
Tiny 1
Mini 1 (Lavender)
Mini 1 (Purple Prodigy)
Small Youth 2
Medium Junior 1
International Junior 2
Small Senior 3
We're rebuilding the program to focus on stronger teams, regardless of level and I'm so happy to be a part of it!

This is awesome. We're taking a similar route this year. We don't to any type of placements until late July/August but thats similar to what we had last season (Tiny 1, Small Youth 1 & 2, Junior 1, International Junior 3, Senior 2 Open Coed 6). We're headed into our 5th year and a gym of about 100 athletes closed a few weeks ago, so it'll be interesting to see what we end up with as a result!
I second this. I came into cheer my first year and was placed on a Jr 5 team with level 3 tumbling and no stunting experience at all.Shout out to all the gyms fielding a 1-3 in at least 2 age brackets (or all 3!)
I know you can't control who comes into your doors but lower level growth/availability is so important.
Especially with Juniors and Seniors.
I feel like kids coming into cheer who are older with limited experience often don't have a good starting spot. Ex: Hard to place a new 13 year old with little experience on a J4.
