Bump I have been following her Facebook page for the past 3 years and reading this broke my heart. Prayers to all of those affected <3

How terrible. I have been following the Facebook page since the beginning as well, and this is just terrible. I cant imagine how her family must be feeling after such a long struggle.

I work with brain injured people on a regular basis. Their lives have been permanently changed, and it only took an instant. It has definitely opened my eyes to how lucky I am to be walking, talking, and breathing on my own, and how quickly that could change forever.

Sending prayers for comfort to Alyssa's family.
