Ankle Brace Question

So I'm very accident prone, which has resulted in an ankle that likes to give out sporadically. It once happened during a stunt, luckily my coach saved it while I regained my position.

I have a cloth ankle brace that just fits snug to the foot. My question is does it go under of over my sock??

Also would my team get deductions if I wore it in a competition??

I've never heard of an EP giving a deduction for an ankle brace.

I would put it over your sock, just in case it rubs and irritates your skin.

My cp likes hers under her sock because it make her sock rub.

Best to try it out both ways to see what works best for you!

I would get a brace with supports for comp I have weak ankles and the plates in it keep it from giving out
