Both my ankles roll a lot whilst training; especially when tumbling and jumping. I am a flyer on my team, and find deep bruises start to appear on my ankles especially after flying. I need to get some supports.
What would you guys say was the best type for me? (elasticated, brace, etc.) I need to get them for this weekend.
Thanks for your help!

Go to a physiotherapist or sports medicine doctor if you can. Either will be able to diagnose what kind of ankle problem you are having and a treatment plan that is needed. I've dealt with ankle issues all of my life and they only get worse if you don't help them get better.
If you can't get to physiotherapist or sports medicine doctor a brace should help. You can shop around for different kinds and see what you like best. The added support would definitely help with rolling them.

the bruises are probably from your backspot gripping your ankle (if you have a backspot, if youre coed stunting with one person the i cant explain them). i back and i find that i leave bruises on my girl's ankles from holding them so tight! haha hope you feel better!

thats how you know if you have a good backspot:)

We use Donjoy ankle braces. They were recommended by the sports orthopedic. Definitely go to a doctor or at least a physical therapist. I've ruptured both my achilles tendons. 9 months down for each and it's not fun. Make sure you haven't torn anything and now are just struggling through until you create major damage.

I bruised my ankle pretty bad once, and I went to the doctor and they said to fill a big tub up with ice and cold water, and completely submerge it! It helped sooo much! I did it for 10 minutes at least every night! And then when it starts to heal up do it less and less! (: Hope it feels better!
