So Sparks Medium Coed was buried and not even top 7 after Day 1 and moved up to get the Paid? Crazy. Good for them! I know Sparks only came in 2nd, the first place team must have had a Paid already, but they still must have leapfrogged a lot of teams to get the Paid! Not loving the 25-75% thing, really.

Where were they Day 1? Def gives you something to ponder...maybe a 60-40 ? 25-75 kinda makes Day 1 a practice to me?

Last place day one and then received the bid...they are a very good team but lack consistancy....I can deal with a 40/60 but 50/50 is what it should be...reward teams for doing well both days.

We had the 2nd highest raw score day 1 and day 1 we got points off for an illegal basket.. So we just hit better and changed the basket and we got a FULL PAID BID just like any other team would have done. :)

I was talking about consistancy, no mention of illegalities...I think your team has amazing talent but as you know you guys seem to hit much better on day two....this is the first time I have seen you this year and missed day 1's performance but this seemed to be the issue last year...congrats on your bid.

The Sparks routine today was amazing stunts were BEAUTIFUL energy was crazy, truthfully gave me goosebumps. The medium co-ed 5 was a very competitive group, all teams are fantastic and it could have gone either way on day one or day two. Everyone knows going in what the splits are, so people know that when scores are so close going into day two with 25/75 it is anyones game. Great job you should be very proud of your accomplishment!

I believe Spirit Explosion already had a full paid, saw them Sunday and they were excellent!

Just because Superstars were inconsistent with their day 1s last year does not mean the same for this year. We had a BRAND NEW flier fall and was our only fall from ALL of our stunts this weekend. If this is only the first time you have seen us this year, then maybe you should not be judging us so harshly considering the competition thought we hit well enough both days to deserve a full paid bid. Thank you, we put our hearts and everything we had on the floor just for it.

Also, thought I should mention that Sparks should not be considered a one day wonder team. Even last year this team had amazing talent. Their routines are very difficult and when they hit they are going to do well. Congrats, and Hope you have a great season, you should be very proud!

Well considering we were one of the only teams who really benefited from the 25/75 split, it seemed as if you didn't think we should be "rewarded" for not hitting both days, and saying we "lack consistency" right before makes it seem as though you were specifically talking about us. Been there, done that. The past is the past, and I'm sure many people would agree that ONE stunt fall does not make a team inconsistent. Goodnight sweetie, see you next competition ;)

Superstars is an amazing all around team....their routine is full of skill...the scores don't just reflect stunting alone...the rest of their routine can allow them to pull out of one stunt from falling on day one!! Congrats on your bid...it's still early in the season...I can only imagine how much stronger you'll be by Worlds!!!

They only had one stunt fall on day one and the teams they competed against unfortunately had the stunt fall on day two. But regardless it was a matter of a deduction that they received that was easily corrected day two so with that correction and hitting a very close to perfect routine day two they were able to really bump up their score.
And nobody in level 5 hits every time so there is always going to be inconsistency. These kids as we all know have a very high level of difficulty, no team is always going to be perfect. That is what makes competition.

So, not trying to argue, just hoping you will understand that it can be hurtful to see comments like that. They did great, let them have their time.

I am entitled to my opinion, I was NOT being harsh...I clearly complimented the team for their skill but all that was taken from my comments was negativity that wasn't intended...it's very obvious those who were upset from my postings were from Sparks....maybe if things went differently and ECE had a bad first day and amazing second day results would of been different...I prefer that results be the same no matter what day a team hits better. Good luck on your season.
