OT Aussie's Set Record For World's Highest Basket Toss

This is kind of random, but I thought people might be interested to hear about it.

A group of Aussie cheerleaders have broken their own record for the World's Highest Basket Toss, and have been added to the Guinness Book of World Records.

The previous record was 5.4 metres - Highest cheerleading basket toss

Yesterday the AASCF team - Tash, Derrick, Carlos, Kenny, Blake & Jay were in China and set the new record (5.5 metres) on their second attempt in front of an excited television audience at CCTV in Beijing and the wider audience of 50 + million viewers!!

Will have a look around and see if there is a video anywhere cause it's kind of awesome I think :)

Not trying to take away from the amazing job the Aussie did. But I wonder sometimes why US collegiate teams don't get in on this stuff... I remember watching this routine



And thinking that has to be the highest toss I've ever seen, if you assume the boys are around 180cm, or 1.8 meters, that chick would be hovering near the 6 meter mark

I don't really know what they are saying... but I love all the excitement from the crowd and the cute graphics showing the stunt group as stars! :)
