**Im putting this here because I put it in other threads and theres not much traffic there today.. Im kind of on a time crunch so please forgive me. Im not sure if all-star does this but maybe they do..

Hello, Im hoping someone can help me with a game my team played at an AYC competition while waiting for awards to start. I think its a pretty well known game but we were knew to it. Ive just been calling it the grade game.

So like its a song, and 5th graders jump in
then 6th graders jump in
7th
8th
9th
and then EVERYONEEEEE jumps in and its like one big giant party.
It was a super fun game and I am hosting a cheer camp at the end of July with all different grades and Id like to play it :D

Any vidoes or any help would be appreciated!

We did something like this at UCA camp waaaaaay back in the day. I have no idea the actual name of it.

It started like "Do it, do it, do it, don't stop don't stop don't stop" (repeat three times total)
"No freeze, and let the ________ (grade level) do it"
repeat the whole thing.

HA, hope this makes sense. I'm sure there are 500 variations on it.

They did something like this before awards at every comp we went to last year. Sometimes it was just a huge dance party, sometimes the teams were split up with an aisle down the middle and the two sides would compete.

At US Finals they had a little solo competition and picked girls one at a time, a couple of tinies and minis, a couple of juniors, etc. And then did a big dance party with everyone.

I'm not sure if you have a specific question, but it sounds like a fun idea to me! From what I've seen so far cheerleaders and dance parties go hand in hand.

Our junior high cheerleaders would do this after games with the other team. It was especially fun when we had played the team before and the other team was ready for it!

That sounds familiar, I dont know the tone of it though but I might be able to type that in a search bar and bring it up lol..
It was so fun when my team did it because we were playing it with the 7 other teams we went against and it was like one big giant party lol !

I was more wondering if anyone had a video of it .. or knew the words and tone of it :D

Hey now don't be sorry ! Its all good :D
Its just a game I watched the kids I coached play that I couldnt make out the words but have been thinking about taching it to my new team but I cant remember it lol

That's usually the case for me, I can't remember things when I really want to tell someone about them lol!

There is always "We've got spirit, yes we do, we've got spirit, how bout you?" But it's short and doesn't really involve dancing or anything.

There's also a game we used to play in color guard where you stand in a big circle and pick one or two people to be in the middle. They skip around the circle and when you get to a certain part in the sing, they stop in front of someone, do a dance move, and the other person copies them and then takes their place in the middle. Kind of a different idea but still a fun game! I think it was Little Sally Walker...
