LOVE THEM . . . If they ever figure out American choreography and increase their tumbling this will be the team to watch. Stunting wise they have the potential to be one of the best in the world!

Do you think with the tumbling scores changing they would have a chance of placing?

There tumbling is so far behind their stunting it doesn't even look like the same team. They only have a few fulls, about 1/3 of the team doing standing tucks, and sum subpar running bhs and tucks. Tumbling is about 1/3 of your score sheet when you add in running, standing, and overall appeal; it definitely effected placements. They do stunts with 2 or 3 people that takes most teams 3-6 to do.

I remember them saying it took a few years to get that routine they performed at Worlds in 09 so it seems to take a while for them to perfect their routines. It is very fun to watch, but the areas they lack kind of ruins it for me. Hopefully in a few years they will be the total package and come to worlds with a bang.

Also are all the things they do stunt and pyramid wise legal in the level 6 division here? I thought that when they were at worlds some of the stuff was illegal.

Yea I wasn't loving the grinding portion of that routine and the girl smacking her butt in the front. The tumbling is way sub-par so they need to focus on all those aspects. If they can get it right then they'll kill American teams.

But honestly, it's to the point where they could probably score HIGHER than the maximum score in stunting, so it would make up for their tumbling...

They are planning on going to ICU this year, so I'm assuming worlds as well probably.
Their facebook status on their page in January was:
"Hey! BU Team, Are we ready for ICU 2011? USA Team is getting hot!"
