This is really a sensitive topic for me because I got my hair cut and the way it's parted now prevents me from doing a pouf :( I hate it for that one reason.

Yes!!! Ugh, it take me about 30 minutes or more to get my poof the way i want it and to where it would stay!

nothing really to rub in since thick hair is soooooo difficult to deal with! :p

i do mine by sectioning the hair i want to poof & put the rest of my hair up (my team does half up half down so this would be the pony tail if that's what you do) then i use hairspray on the hair for the poof & tease it a little bit then take a small elastic & put it around it & push it forward then secure it with bobby pins or clips
