Got an update on Karli.
I mentioned in the first post that Karli had a broken leg and arm - well that was the experienced opinion of her coach. Unfortunately, on her first visit to the hospital they didn't think the xray showed a break in her arm- a week later, they do another xray and "oh, gee" her arm is broken. Apparently, they were focused on her leg initially because they had concerns about the circulation. Consequently, Karli had been dealing with a broken arm that was not set in a cast for a week. But, everything is on the mend, though she is facing at least another month with the casts. Her family is so very appreciative of the cards and "thinking of you" gifts. They are working on thank-yous, but wanted to again just let everyone know in advance how much it means to them that people have been thinking of Karli.

Thank you for the updates...We are still thinking about her here at Cheer Tyme! and I know we recently sent out a little something for her. Countinued prayers on a speedy recovery:)

You know, I reread my posts at least twice before actually posting and I can still manage to be unclear. I was trying not to be too wordy. I should have clarified that when the accident occured, Karli's coach was sure that Karli's arm as well as her leg was broken. However, either the initial xray was unclear or the doctor who read it missed the break and it wasn't discovered until she went back on a followup.

my team Md. Twisters Twilight is all getting her stuff to do like some girls brought in coloring bo0ks or color wonder or beads, things she can do in bed

thats awesome! my gym made her a basket as well, and in the basket we put in our 1st place trophy from the competition being she couldnt be there

Haha, its all good. I was thinking, dang, she called me out for not knowing for sure. We could all tell it was broken as it wasnt moving. She is doing quite well though. We had team performances this week as were headed to nationals this week and she was there to support her sisters and teammates. Its going to be a long weekend for that poor girl in her wheel chair.
