Can't Post?

This is probably going to have a really simple solution but I can't figure out why I can't post like statuses on my profile. There isn't a little box like there used to be and when I tried to use the box under everyone's posts it says I don't have like permission to do that.

I think the function was "deleted" when king changed around the layout.

Like I can see other people posting like statuses and stuff on their profile page but I can't figure out how, I used to be able to. Like @kingston you posted about how people were all icing and no cake.
