The CA Icon program sounds wonderful. I love the way the kids can represent their gym in such positive, selfless ways; being part of a program like CA, which is prominent in the community, would I think provide great opportunities to make lasting changes in community service and citizenship.

If any gym is interested in starting a similar program, we would be happy to share our info and experiences. We would love to see this type of thing spread throughout the industry.

I just love this concept and will definitely be looking at ways to increase leadership opportunities and service in our program this season.

@BlueCat I'm sorry if this has been asked and answered but do you have a social media policy regarding appropriate practices by your athletes online? And if you do what kind of methods do you have for reporting behaviour that you think is unacceptable?

We do have a social media policy and we encourage our athletes to be responsible with the image and communications they put out there. However, if you see something that you believe we should know about, you can email one of the coaches or myself. [email protected].

I like that you encourage people to let you know if something seems off about a post. Sometimes kids simply don't realize that what they post could be taken in a different way.

So today I was at a small competition and I was looking at bows and there's a team performing and I started singing to it, and realized it was Fiercekatz music from a few years back!! Is that even... allowed? Like does CA do anything to stop that? It was really strange....

We used to be pretty strict about people using our music, posting videos, etc. It is basically impossible to stop, so we gave up trying. We have better things to spend time worrying about.

That is a large part of why so much music repeats the gym name so often. It takes either takes more effort for someone else to use it, or it makes the copying gym look more foolish.

Not a weird question, but I'm not sure I know the exact answer. I haven't really noticed that. I don't know if it is a sizing or styling issue.

It is very difficult to predict exactly what a uniform will look like on a team on the floor until you get them on a team on the floor. Occasionally, we get a new uniform and end up liking our old one more.

Yes. There were definitely things we liked about those uniforms.

I was wondering does the EP Legacy cheer and dance have any connections with cheer athletics? I only ask because they were selling claw T-shirts at the competition. I know the EP is from Texas but just curious
