I've just arrived in New York for a vacation and I want to take back some magazines for my girls in the UK. Where can I buy them from here? Thanks :)

Sorry, I should have said I'm mainly in Manhattan.

So I went to Barnes and Noble today to enquire about any magazines and the first woman I spoke to me looked at me as if I'd said I was going to ritually sacrifice her first born! The second woman did do a little search and call the other branches but she couldn't locate any. We got talking about why I wanted them and I said that my girls back home wanted them and that cos I was coming to America, which to them is the land of cheerleading, that I had to bring them home with me. The woman leaned over and almost whispered "Yes, but this is New York, we don't do that kind of thing here'!!!

Help, I have 2 more days and I really don't want to go back empty handed.

Have you tried a Barnes & Noble? I know they sell Inside Cheerleading.

Sorry, I see you said you went to Barnes & Noble. Try a different one, I know here in NJ they sell them. Good Luck!

I'm staying in Jersey, so maybe I'll try and hit up a B+N there if I get chance. I really can't go back to the girls without any if I can help it
