This may be a bit premature, but we wanted to get this out as soon as possible! We are seeking TUMBLING INSTRUCTORS and COACHES for the 2013-2014 season. Located in the Morristown area of NJ, Cheer Pride is in its first season, with a Junior 1 and a Senior 2. We are currently having to turn people away from tumbling classes due to lack of staff. We are also in need of at least 2 assistant coaches, though we will not know an exact number until after tryouts. Prior experience with All-Star Cheerleading, Coaching, or Tumbling Instruction is a MUST. No worries if you aren't USASF credentialed, we will make sure to help you take care of that. It is also important that you are able to work with us in a friendly, family atmosphere! We PRIDE ourselves on providing all of our athletes with a positive, yet competitive experience! TUMBLING INSTRUCTOR REQUIREMENTS:
- physically strong
- male or female
- Minimum 3 years of experience with Level 3 tumbling and above
- Able to spot all ages and sizes on Level 2-5 skills
- Strong emphasis on technique and progression
- Interest in ongoing learning and training
- Good communication skills
- Positive and supportive to individual needs
Note: You will work with us to create a schedule that works best for you! There is also an availability to teach privates at $35/30min, the gym only takes a $5 cut!
ASSISTANT CHEER COACH REQUIREMENTS:
- male or female
- Minimum 3 years all-star cheer experience OR 3 years coaching all-stars
- Strong emphasis on technique and proper progression
- Able to work well with junior, youth, and mini age groups
- Strong knowledge of Level 1-2 skills
- Interest in ongoing learning and training
- Good communication skills
- Positive and supportive to individual needs
Note: If you have a successful first season with us, there is always room for growth into a HEAD COACHING position!
