I refuse to believe Wildcats didn't make finals.

Still, they were over 5 points higher than 2nd place yesterday and just a bobble today?
True. Canada is also closer in most instances. It's not just a flight cost though that factors into this. We have to factor in economic factors, coaching resources, training facilities, development of cheerleading in a country for the long term essentially. Because Jamaica has a closer flight than Alaska, does that mean that Jamaica has all the same opportunities and resources that Alaska would have? Again, it's not a perfect system and there will be plenty of instances where we could say "well what about this?". You could argue that this is similar to the scenario that happens with exclusive ivy league schools..... do we let in another 4.00 gpa normal American, or a foreigner from a developing country for this last spot? Which one will make the most societal difference? As an American we could say that its unfair to give the opportunity to a foreigner as this is an American College and clearly the American has a higher gpa/more extra curriculars/etc etc BUT will they make a difference in America from having that spot? Maybe, maybe not. Will the foreigner take advantage of being given a spot in comparison and go back to their country to spread that knowledge to develop their country in a major way? Maybe, maybe not. As you see, it is a tough call either wayDevil's advocate: Alaska Athletics Black Ice in small coed.
Who has an easier/cheaper flight--Puerto Rico from San Juan or Alaska Athletics from Anchorage?
I can't tell if I should be happier about Blink or sadder about Wildcats
