Global was created to mimic the ICU style of cheer. Which would be the style (who knows if or when) cheer becomes an Olympic sport.

Ahh that makes sense. It just doesn't seem to fit in with allstar cheer at all. I'm definitely curious how a gym like Cheer Athletics would decide which kids do the "cheering" in Global, and which are just on an International team.

BSB had a tumble bust, but I'm sure their score will still be super high.

This was ny first time seeing GI Janes this season as NT. Wow!

So crazy to see how the depth of the NT divisions change as new teams enter.

Thought: I feel like sooner or later, USASF is going to need to start splitting IOCNT6 and IONT6 into small and large.

At this point I don't see one as better or more elite than the other; Swooshcats are International / CrewCats are Global. Both are amazing!

Agreed. I'm just curious about the thought process of who goes where. Or is it somewhat random, or where open spots happen to be, etc. Or are there kids who really favor the sideline portion of cheer and want to do the chant in the beginning and intentionally get put on the Global team? Or are they hoping to try out for an ICU team? Who knows.

Allstars routines use to required a cheer portion until 2004.

The results page is so slow to update. Some awards were 3 hours ago and results still aren't posted, yet more recent divisions are already up. I think they forget to post sometimes, but hopefully they'll go back later and add in the results they missed. It would be nice in a sport to get complete results lol.

BSB had a 99.05 today with a 99.3 raw. One day they'll score 100 lol.

Just going through some videos and loved Diamonds All Stars. Davis did well across the board too.

I saw someone mat talking their flyer before she tumbled into the pod and I cried. I miss cheer. I can't believe it's been a year since we've been able to compete.

Yes! I definitely remember having cheers. All star is its own massive sport now, but at one point all star was (for a while) basically a division offered at school comps for teams that were not schools.

CP says Diamonds look like barbies. They have pink tulle on their bows that sticks up. They have some good teams though. Yes Davis are always good. I remember them from when we lived in FL. They could probably compete D1.

I just watched the video where they asked a girl on Twist & Shout Diamonds about how exciting it is to have a Dora The Explorer theme. I would have asked how did a Senior team end up with this theme instead of a Youth one.

She was probably forced to say it or she would have gotten kicked off LOL
