Hello All! I have an exciting opportunity for all of you. Cheer Athletics is running a campaign called Claws for a Cause which benefits Give Kids The World Village. This 70-acre non profit resort near Orlando hosts children with life-threatening illnesses and their families for a weeklong, cost-free fantasy vacation.
Each year, cheerleaders dream of competing in Orlando for the chance to be crowned a champion. The draw of Disney World is not the place itself, but what it represents. A dream. A wish. A goal to become crowned as one of the best of the best. For the kids at Give Kids The World Village the draw is similar, but on a much grander scale. Their one wish is to be a normal kid.
The kids with life threatening illnesses at Give Kids The World Village have been given the option of doing anything in the world. They chose to go to Disney World. Their wish and dream is that they can beat their illness. Disney gives them the hope of becoming a champion. We are getting closer to our goal of giving 6 families an all expenses paid trip.
