College Coaches Who Don't Know What They're Doing

My high school cheer coach was teaching us a new pyramid and referred to one of the movements as a "swingy thingy"

That's the higher level version of the "hangy thingy ". . .duh

which are in a different category on the score sheet from "flippy thingies", for obvious reasons.

We have had multiple injuries from our coaches not knowing what they are doing and just trying to figure it out

SAME! I'm lucky enough to have two cheer teams available at my school (comp and spirit squad) I finally opened my eyes and made the right decision, I hope everything goes well with you and your coach sitch :)
