There is another thread where the OP is suffering from nausea and dizziness. Based on a response of a person that suffers from Vertigo it reminded me of something my mother went through called BPPV (see attached) after suffering a head injury in a car accident. The symptoms: Migraines, Nausea, and Dizziness. Her doctor had misdiagnosed her as having a concussion before realizing it was BPPV six weeks later. She was put into a position which caused her eyes to "flick", therefore, testing positive for BPPV. They put her in another position which put these "ear rocks/crystals" back into place and she immediately was symptom free. For our sports medicine people and coaches, is this something you have heard of, trained to look for? The good news is the treatment is easy, quick and works on the majority of people. The interesting news, it usually goes away in about 2 months by itself, about the same time many people with concussions say they are seeing some of their symptoms diminish.

I once went to practice and tried tumbling when I had vertigo..... Not a good idea.... my foot ended up going through a wall. I confused the wall with the floor oops.

I have learned about this, but not in too much detail yet. I will probably know a lot more about it in the fall when I get into neuro PT. But I do know that some treatment for it can be to gradually change the position of the patient using a special table that can tilt. OT gets a little bit more into the vestibular system than PT does, but both are probably the best at treating it.
