Hi,
I take a tumbling class once a week. I've had my standing back handspring for almost a year now and I can do it fine and everything, but sometimes it's like I twist to my left side instead of jumping straight back. Like at the beginning of my class, throwing it is no problem, I'll jump straight back and everything but once I do it repetitively, I'll think about going crooked and I end up jumping to my left. This used to only happen like once every now and then, but now it's happening every week. I have a round-off two back handspring and that is fine. It's just the standing back handspring that I'm having problems with. Does anyone have any tips to help me over come this? My teacher said I can't move on to tucks until my standing back handspring is mastered.
