I'm confused as to why the "story line" they used started with some random girl accusing him of being involved with her and throwing water in his face. I mean, that's pretty cruel.

after watching the whole thing.....I think it's one of two things:
1. fake (as in they aren't really a couple, just actors)

2. This guy is really insecure and knew the only way she'd agree is if he pressured her with all this production. I mean, she agreed to marry him, but when he asked if she wanted to get married right now, he didn't wait for an answer, they just started dancing and put that hideous dress on her. Oh yes, every girls dream is to wear a cheap poorly made dress, that's thrown on over her leggings and sweater and doesn't even button in the back.
