One last year was $25 a day and 75% of the seats were behind judges and/or VIP. Comp floor was not raised... ....I may have walked right on in the 2nd day!We had a few that were $45 last year, I fear they will be $50 this year!
What do you mean? Between thousands of dollars spent on tuition, uniforms, bows, privates, gas, car maintenance, food, hotels, etc. you don't have a spare almost $200 to spend (family of 4 for 2 days) to watch your child compete?!
Crazy talk!

If u charge that much at least there should be seating to watch your kid...I should do that. A few of these comps are ridiculous. There isn't room to see your own kid's team perform, let alone any other teams. But if it's a place we haven't been to before, I don't know what the "arena" looks like until I have paid.
The problem athletes/parents s r paying arm leg already to compete....then u can’t bring siblings/grandparents without spending a couple 100 dollars!Folks we're dealing with multi million/billion dollar government facilities whether schools, convention centers or stadiums. The Braves new stadium was built in our county and I'm livid, we didn't get to vote on it and our property taxes have doubled. You best believe tax payers want the fans to pay for that stadium instead of us and if they can rent out school facilities to groups, even better. The elderly, poor, and frankly everyone else, will hands down vote for what they view as the more privileged enjoying a luxury to pay for those facilities. We may dislike it, but the poor little traveling cheerleaders and their parents aren't going to reap much sympathy when the elderly and poor can't afford their taxes.
