Apparently they got permission from USASF.

Is this a joke? USASF just decided to give out more bids? May I ask why?

Due the the amount of teams registered.

The number of bids is usually based on the amount of thems the previous year, I guess they had a way higher number than expected so they were allowed to give out another set of bids? I know the same thing could have happen with Jamz in vegas this year, They had enough team registered that they could have given out an extra set of bids but decided not too.

I don't know about the other teams, but unless Indiana All Stars improved A LOT I can't believe they were given an at large (was this their senior coed team or their IOC5?). Of course I haven't seen a video of them from this comp, but earlier in the season they looked to me to be more of a restricted 5 then a worlds level team.

It's their medium coed 5 team.. but to be honest, in my opinion, those 3 other teams that got at-large bids don't look like a Worlds level team to me (FCA Onyx, maybe, but I think they're in a very very tough division at Worlds). I feel like the other two would definitely do better in a restricted division.

Yeah I remember Witches from Jamfest and they looked a mess and the majority of the twisting skills thrown were only to a full so I am not sure why they wouldn't just go restricted. More proof that everyone thinks that they should go to worlds even if they don't have the skill. If those parents want to dish the money out then go ahead, but if it were my child and they still looked like they did at Jamfest I wouldn't be paying this close to worlds.

Wow!

Congrats to Core on the paid!

Why would they do this 2 days later? Did they even follow their own "rules" for bids when it came to the teams having competed at a previous comp or having 2 teams at the bid event??

I don't think they followed any of their rules... they also said that they would give a full paid bid to an IOC5 team if their score was the highest and I know Famous Superstars and Spirit Athletics had two of the highest scores of the competition.
