Working on a game for people to play with @Ashley and wanted to get some peoples opinions. I am thinking of creating a Fantasy Cheer league. A way for people to pick and pull for their favorite teams throughout the season (no this would no involve individuals).
The idea right now is you can create a league with you and your friends (as many as you want in the league) or compete in the overall league with everyone. Before the start of every month you choose worlds eligible (for now, can look at expanding later) teams for Dec, Jan, Feb, and Mar. You can choose new teams for every month but they must compete in at least one two day competition for that month. For each team you pick the average percentage of perfection score you think that team will get that month.
So, for example, lets say you chose Craptastic allstars and said you think they will get a 90% average for December. Craptastic competes at two events that month: a Varsity event and a random event that uses some weird scoring system based on 777 points. Craptastic got a 91 on the V scoresheet (which also happens to be a 91% percentage of perfection) and a 731 on random event. 731 / 777 is 94.1% for PofP which means Craptastic averaged a 92.55%. Calculate the difference (so 2.55) and minus that off a score of 100. So right now my score is 97.45. I do that for every team I picked. At the end of the month I end up with a score.
Every month I add up those scores until I end up with a final score and we see the winner!
What does everyone think? Suggestions and adjustments welcome.
