I've got my own short list but I'm always looking for suggestions. What are your favorite places to stay and why? (some love a free breakfast, free parking, walk to comp location or quiet retreat while others adore the cheer crowds so let us know why!)

Sorry- I should start. For competitions in Providence I generally book the Comfort Inn in Seekonk, Ma. It's close, cheap and used to share a parking lot with Vinny T's (Cp's fav restaurant). That restaurant has been replaced, but we still return because it's super quiet and we love the breakfast buffet. This place is no 5 star hotel but it's clean, quiet, the staff is nice and it's reasonably priced.

georgia- SHERATON(:
indy- ebassy suitess!

i love sheraton, one a good pool (had to swim monday morn.) good food, love the set up, always fun(:

embassy- love the set up! laways so fun!

As long as it's close, I'm good. I really like the Marriott in Tacoma, Washington. It's right beside the convention centre so you only have to walk right across the street to get to the competition. My gym is out of Vancouver, Canada so when we travel, it's usually to Washington. It's a great hotel and I've never had any problems with it.

Marriott brand hotels seem to always be great for comps. b/c they are always next to or very close by to the convention center!!

For Providence i love the Biltmore. Even though its like a 2 minute walk to the comp, its worth it. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are huge & the beds are probably the most comfortable of any hotel i have ever been in!
For Indy we just booked the Courtyard by Marriott - supposed to be attached. Its brand new & looks really nice.
For Washington DC - of course the Gaylord is amazing! But also in DC right across from the Gaylord is the Hampton Inn. Its like a 2 second walk & they have free breakfast - very clean rooms.

Indy-Embassy Suites ( most of my team stayed there i think there is free breakfast and happy hour for adults, you can see everyone from outside your room, there is a mall attatched to the hotel, and the convention center is also attached)

cheersport - LOEWS. beautiful hotelll i loved it! and mario lopez was in our hotel during competition weekend

Indy-Embassy Suites ( most of my team stayed there i think there is free breakfast and happy hour for adults, you can see everyone from outside your room, there is a mall attatched to the hotel, and the convention center is also attached)

I agree, this is a great hotel!

The Westin in Providence was really good. My mom and I stayed there for U.S Finals and the beds were soooooooo comfy =)

Omni in Atlanta. hands down. it's pricey if i remember correctly(my mom does all that stuff) but i just love that hotel! its so nice, it's in the cnn building, right next to the Congress Center, and too many food choices to remember

The Drury Inn and Suites in Columbus, Ohio. Free breakfast and a happy hour with free "mom"drinks and pop for the kids. Pool is a combo inside/outside pool and is connected to the Covention Center.

Embassy Suites in Indy....the Westin is a close second but no free breakfast. Both are connected to the Convention Center and Mall.
