With all the stress of competing, I think we could all use a happy story. It's a familiar story, but a priceless story nonetheless.
It all started in the milkhouse, April 2011. There were only two teams left to be announced in the Large Coed Division. One would be taking home silver, and one would be named the 2011 WORLD CHAMPIONS! California Allstars anxiously waited for the announcer to declare the final two placements.
"In second place.... from Kernersville, North Carolina... CHEER EXTREME COED ELITE!" The announcer declared as the proud and talented Cheer Extreme received their trophy and medals. California Allstars knew what that meant for them.
As California was announced as the World Champion, the team celebrated together. Hugging, crying, jumping...
California made it's way to the front of the mat, where they received their WORLD CHAMPION trophy and banner.
Their competitors congratulated them on their incredible win. Proving that the entire cheer community is a family.
Cheerleaders met up with their families. Everyone hugged, and there was not a single Cali parent with dry eyes. They were so proud and happy for their CP.
The end <3
