All-Star Flight Problems Today?

every airtran & southwest tickets are sold out here in dallas. So if you expecting to go standby...dont try it.
I talked to the airline today several times, they said they might have OVERBOOKED flights here..... GREAT.
I cancelled my flight this morning because im really thinking i could hopefully get a last minute deal today. I dont want to spend haft my day flying to orlando !

Last year lots of the european teams, including team Germany didn't make it. It was so frustrating and sad for everyone as it was the only chance for some of the athletes to ever go to worlds... :(
Really hope that everyone gets to Disney fine this year!

I had a flight from Pittsburgh to Atlanta. We got to Atlanta around 12am and they said our flight was going to be delayed until the storms were over. We waited for our flight until 4am when they told us that our flight was cancelled but there were no hotel rooms available, no flights, and no rental cars. We were stuck in the Atlanta airport for 15 hours. We had to take a flight to sarasota and drive to orlando. We just got to orlando now. It was a nightmare!

I live in Tulsa. We woke up at 4 to find out our flight at 6 was canceled. We have been up all day trying to find a flight. Our team was supposed to fly together but that didnt happen. Im one of the 3 that STILL hasnt made it out of tulsa. We hopefully leave a 5 tonight though!

Airlines overbook every flight they can. Chances are most planes you've been on have been overbooked lol. Totally commonplace. I wouldn't worry.

This is why everyone should just relax behind their computer screen instead of going.

No lines, no park fees, no cancelled plane tickets, no overeating Disney food...just sitting back, watching every single team I want to from BOTH venues, never having to fight for a front row seat and F!ERCEChatting all day. The good life.

ugh that sounds terrible! at least you flew out early... im flying tomorrow morning so if my flight has problems I could be cutting it close! yikes

let me just tell you...... i have been in the airport still all day.. and finally.. we figured out that im flying to dallas tonight. then orlando tomorrow morning.. thank god..

this has been a nightmare... and i am about to get on the plane for dallas!!!! wish me luck! :)

omg its crazy... we are flying out of pittsburgh to JFK in NY then to Orlando.. but apparently the JFK airport has 0 visability so we have been delayed in Pittsburgh... and because of the delay we might miss our connecting flight to orlando.. gahhh its so nice here in pittsburgh go figure it would be storming in the place we have our layover haha

Oh my, NEVER fly through JFK!! Last time on a vacation I traveled out of JFK back to Oregon, I got a 12 hour delay and it was a one way flight but it turned into a connecting flight out of atlanta, not to mention they left my luggage back at JFK... all for silly rain:mad: haha I'm getting mad just thinking about it.
