They can be nice when they work or disasters when the littlest thing goes wrong. Isn't that true @quitthedrama and @12stepCheermomI wish I had a car pool!

Sweet Jesus, yes. I generally loathe carpools. They can be nice when they work or disasters when the littlest thing goes wrong. Isn't that true @quitthedrama and @12stepCheermom
lol I'll share my favorite carpool story. My youngest CP used to be a bit of a gym rat and was never ready to leave the gym. One night my oldest walked into the house (she had the last practice of the night) and I said "where's youngest CP?". She looked at me like I was crazy and said "I thought she was here". Turns out they left her at the gym :D. Thankfully I have a good natured DH who just shook his head and walked out the door to go pick her up.They can be nice when they work or disasters when the littlest thing goes wrong. Most of our commute is on a toll road where the posted speed limit is 70 mph .
Any coaches with long drives to WORK?
I work and coach at the same school and it's about 15-20 min from my house. The gym where I coach is about 20ish from the house and 30 on a bad day. They are both within 10 to my kid's school as well if I need to run and get him. It's not AWFUL.
My All Star kid who travels the farthest is 45 min away and I think THAT is far.
For reference, I'm the mom who is irritated when her son's away soccer game is 30 min from the house instead of 5 for a home game.
I totally love driving, if you can't tell.
Anyone driving further than 30 min for cheer should be eligible for sainthood.
;)ooh, I like how you phrased that. It is less incriminatory than my " usually doing 80ish" comment.
do they carpool or drive on their own? Wow I did the math for one month. Lord that's a lot. I just guessed how many practices per week.My daughter and a few others travel 4 hrs one way to practice (8hrs round trip)
Each trip is about $80 in gas in our economy cars.
You dont wanna do the math for a whole season lol

I have a 45-50 minute commute to work every day. The gym that I coached at (taking a year off) was 25 minutes from my house and 45 minutes from work.Any coaches with long drives to WORK?
