Okay, so I help coach a pop warner team and every year we always give them little gift bags before the first competition. They are usually to wish them goodluck and I'm completely out of good, creative ideas. We usually always give them cowbells with their names on them and candy but I was looking for more creative ideas. Does anyone have any ideas?

Can you provide more info on your team...ie team name, colors, etc? That way, people can suggest creative ideas that is personalized to your team. Thanks!

Maybe a framed team picture? Mardi Gras type beads in team colors, lip gloss, just cute little random things you'd find at the dollar store haha thats what I always got from pop warner.

I think a great place to look is at orientaltrading.com they have so much stuff the can fit themes/seasons I coach at HotCheer and have done gift bags for my kids every year with lipgloss, jewelry, just some random little toys and candy

hopefully this helps you

One year we gave the girls bags of personalized colored mm's, you can put the name on the team colors.

i made animal print bows/headbands for my team.. along with a little "everything you need for a competiton" bag.. with a little mirror, deoderant, lipgloss, a pin for their parents with their picture on it and a few other things. they loved it.

I coached Pop Warner for years! My all-time favorite goody bag stuffer is a 'bag tag'! You can shop for the laminate-type at Office Depot and make them yourself with a team or individual picture and then put the year and team name/logo on the back. You can get professionally-made ones on line. I haven't ordered them off line, but I will next time! Here's one of the sites! http://www.peculiarstuff.com/BagTags.htm. The kids keep them forever! Note: I haven't used this site, it's just an example. Have fun!

Not sure how well this would go over with your girls but we tried mini journals and had them write something in it after every competition. We also invited team members to write in each others book! WE decorated the books with of course team colors, emblems, logos and anything we could think of that made the books a bit more personal to each member. The girls loved them and we even picked some to read during our end of year banquet, brought tears to everyones eyes ( of course happy tears).

You can make a bow box. That way if they have a special competition bow it won't get crushed. We got them at the craft store and painted them.

Love the idea of a journal and encouraging the girls to write in it after every comp.
One of the crafty moms on our team made door hangers two years. One year out of plywood and painted them and decorated with letter stickers in the cp's name and stars, etc. - seal with modge-podge. Another year out of the thin sheets of craft foam. Really cute and our girls put them on their hotel doors with little suction cups. (Unfortunately, my cp's was stolen at NCA last year.)
