I figured that half year athletes should have somewhere that they can all relate to each other xD so here it goes :)

You don't need to tag King in every post you create or make unless you are making sure we know who he is.

You successfully posted outside of the newbie section. Congratulations.
Thanks for the tips✌️ I feel like allstar prep teams should be noticed to :)

Are we talking all star prep only or all half year teams?

I do know a lot of programs that do not go in the prep division for their half year teams.

Sorry for double post

Jayhawks, I am assuming you are on a prep team, congratulations, and am just curious how long you've been cheering or involved in that division?

No mentioning names or other things that can identify you as we don't need that. I'm just talking in general.

I have been cheering sidelines for 3 years, but this is my first year involved in an allstar-prep program. My gym, Atlanta Jayhawks, is a full allstar program with about 20 full year allstar teams, and 10 half-year teams (including both locations) :)

I might be wrong but I thought they had to now.

NO, you can choose. Our gym is fielding a half year level 4 team geared towards school cheerleaders after their season calms down. There isn't even a prep division for level 4 so I know they are competing as an all star team, just starting later. You cannot cross athletes between all star and all star prep at the same competition, but I am not aware of any rule that classifies a team as prep because they are formed after a certain date.

I haven't heard of any rule about teams having to go into a prep division if they start late. There would probably be lots of grumpy people in Illinois if this were true... we have lots of half season teams because of our high school rules, and a lot of those teams go for (and receive) Worlds bids.
