I got the call that I am officially certified to be a foster parent. So, great Valentine's gift. They shared since I choose ages 5-11 years old it could be up to 6 months before I receive a placement call. They said there is a great need for care for teens in our state. Unfortunately, with my work schedule, I would not be able to provide appropriate supervision for a teenager. For the younger ages, I can use after-school programs. I don’t want any kid to need a home but if they need one and I can help, I hope they call me.
