I know there have been previous threads regarding jobs in the spirit industry, but I decided to create a new one because I'm looking for something different. I was going to post in "Cheer Industry" but this seems to be the most active forum and I thought I would find more success here, especially since a huge part of the industry is geared to All-Star cheer. Admins, feel free to correct me if this is not OK. I am a bit older than new-college-grad (currently 25) and am not looking for a job as an actual instructor or coach. What I am looking for is a corporate job in the areas of marketing, PR, event management, etc. I have a masters degree in business and am qualified for jobs in these areas, but I'm finding it impossible to find the "employment" sections on the websites of many well-known cheer companies. USASF, WSF, Cheersport, Cheerlebrity, UCA, NCA and the main Varsity site are some that I have already browsed unsuccessfully. Any employment information I can find is for coaching or camp instruction.

Can anyone help me here? I am certainly willing to personally contact managers of these companies to inquire about employment and will do that if needed. I was just wondering if there is a central place where spirit industry jobs are posted that I just don't know about. After all, I've been a cheerleading coach for three years and only found Fierceboard last month (what did I ever do without it? :)).

Any help or direction is greatly appreciated!

I think that many of those corporate jobs are filled internally overall. Many of the individuals who start out as camp staffers for Varsity EPs transition into the office positions for their EP company through hard work over several seasons as a staffer/head instructor in addition to networking and applying for the job once it is open internally.

This is what I figured. Still thought I would put it out there in case someone here knew of a way get a foot in the door or a place just to look for open jobs in the industry. Oh well, thanks for replying! Much appreciated.
