Help With Jumps

I would post this elsewhere, but I can't yet.
I desperately need help with my toe touches.
Do I need to work on the strength of my hip flexors? Or is it more about your flexibility?
I can do second leaps in dance but for some reason I can't quite get my jumps where I want them.
Give me every single tip you have.

You can't delete threads. The beauty of the Internet is once it is there it's always there.

Once in a blue moon a moderator will delete them but this one doesn't even come close to warranting that. Don't worry.
