Do you guys have any tips for teaching a tiny team how to jump?
I've never coached this age group before (used to senior teams) and I find that jumps are where they're struggling the most. I'm not sure what to do beyond repetition/going step by step.
Ideally, I would want them to do pike...
I started cheer about a year and a half ago and got on a level one team for my first season. Now its my second season and I still don't have my back walkover ( but I do have my back bend!) . Also my jumps are not even close to looking at least decent. I have been trying many different...

2. Are you allowed to do a turn table stunt, nike body position, copycopy stretch stunt, and a walk the line stunt?

I would post this elsewhere, but I can't yet.
I desperately need help with my toe touches.
Do I need to work on the strength of my hip flexors? Or is it more about your flexibility?
I can do second leaps in dance but for some reason I can't quite get my jumps where I want them.
Give me every...
Okay. My jumps aren't horrible! I don't reach for my toes or anything like that it's just they're not very high at all and I can't point my toes! Anything I can do to help fix this? :)
I coach a rec team but this year they follow the high school aacca rules for competition. At our first 2 comps, 40% of our score is made up of tumbling and jumps! Tumbling is our weak spot since a lot of the girls can't afford gymnastics classes. At most we'll have 1 or 2 bhs, some good...
I just bought a pack of big rubber bands from walmart and wanted to incorporate them into practices but not sure many drills or exercises to do with them. Any suggestions??

Want leg power to jump this high?
Let’s face it, every cheerleader under the sun – no matter how good he or she already is, wants higher jumps along with tumbling that is fast and fierce (or fast and furious?)
The benefits of being able to perform skills at such a...
