Help With Roundoffs

So, I can do a roundoff bhs and recently I've started working roundoff hs tucks. My coach is lightly spotting me and says I would have it IF I fixed my roundoff. He says I need to do less in my roundoff and I should't finish it. I have no idea what this means could someone help?

Ask him to explain himself a little more. That makes absolutely no sense to me..

It almost sounds like you're landing toes and absorbing through your heels, instead of landing toes and pushing through to a bhs. But I honestly could be wrong.
