Real Techniques brushes are my favorite! Not high end, but does anyone have any recommendations for cheapish makeup brushes?
okay has anyone ever tried lancome effacernes under eye concealer? I need new under eye stuff and tried the tarte thing specifically for under eyes that a lot of people i know raved about but it's just too dark and doesn't come in a lighter shade. the lancome has great reviews on sephora but has anyone on here used it? it's kind of on the expensive side for just a concealer, but if it works and will last a while I'm willing to splurge.
If you want to try something superrrrrr cheap- I've been using Hard Candy Glamoflauge concealer for years. I go through concealer way too fast to spend a lot of money on it lol. It's pretty thick and I kinda think it takes too long to set in/dry/whatever (I think I put too much on anyway), but if you're looking for something super full coverage this is it. I've covered my tattoo w it before. $6 at Walmart!okay has anyone ever tried lancome effacernes under eye concealer? I love the NYX HD concealer! So glad someone recommended it!Some pages back someone recommended the NYX HD Concealer - which I then tried and I LOVE it. It's also pretty cheap and comes in really light colors if you need it. The lightest one is almost white.
Do you use a primer or setting spray? I'd try an oil control primer and/or setting spray. Urban decay deslick setting spray is my personal favorite. I can get through a 12 hour shift without my makeup moving. My makeup is suddenly sliding off my face. It looks great in the morning and then around 12 it starts to look a little patchy. By the end of the day, my chin and nose look awful. Any ideas? I also can't get foundation on my nose even when I first apply. EEK.
I use both. That's why I'm so frustrated. I use Tarte's Primer and NYX's dewey setting spray. :/Do you use a primer or setting spray? I'd try an oil control primer and/or setting spray. What foundation do you use? I was having problems with my foundation settling around my nose and sliding off my cheeks...it was awful and looked kinda gross. I changed from benefit professional to Laura Gellar primer(it doesn't feel like silicone and feels more hydrating) and switched from liquid foundation to IT celebration powder foundation which made a huge difference. I've never been into powder foundations because it seemed like they never gave me good coverage but this one is so nice and it stopped the settling/sliding.I use both. That's why I'm so frustrated. IT Cosmetics Bye-Bye Undereye is hands-down the best concealer I have ever used....and it lasts all day.okay has anyone ever tried lancome effacernes under eye concealer? You like the Laura Geller primer? I was considering that one. I think it's called Spackle? What foundation do you use? I would maybe try a different foundation because that and changing from a silicone primer made a huge difference for me.
I love it! I use the neutralizing one but they have a primer for pretty much any skin type. It's not going to blur pores as much since it doesn't have silicone but it definitely helps your make up stick better. You like the Laura Geller primer? I was considering that one. I use ColorStay. Before that I was using DoubleWear, but that made my face look totally flat. I need a pretty good coverage foundation because I have some residual dark spots from acne. Powder foundations scare me. You've had success? Hmmm.
