Although most high school cheerleading squads are all-girl squads, there are a growing number of high school cheerleading squads that have both male and female cheerleaders. Squads such as Graves County, Sun Prairie, Lewisville, Brother Martin, Dyer County, and Sebring are bringing collegiate-style partner stunts and higher basket tosses to the competition floor.
Another good thing about these squads that their cheerleaders have gone on to cheer in college simply because the transition from high school to college is each easier though there are cheerleaders from all-girl high school squads that have made the transition to a coed college squad.
