My CP's high school squad practices every morning from 8am - 9:45 Monday - Friday. They do not have a competition squad just side-line cheer.

The high school starts at 8:50 but the cheerleaders have to be there at 8:00. Cheer is considered a regular PE/Athletic course. All the cheerleaders on the Freshman, JV and Varsity have cheer as their first period.

It's funny for me to think about it now, because I have no idea how I did it. My junior and senior year I had cheer practice every day for three hours and I was on a travel soccer team that had 2 hour practices, 3 days a week plus games on weekends. School cheer only competed in the fall so this only lasted for about 2 months so I guess it wasn't too bad. But, junior year I had 3 AP classes and senior year I had 4. I also had about a 45 minute commute to my high school. This was 5-6 years ago so I don't really remember, but I'm pretty sure I had no life for those 2 months each year lol.Ok so for those of you that practice for so long almost every day after school, when do you find time to do homework??
Yes they have showers but most of the time they don't sweat unless they run the track. Most of the time it's choreography for pep rallies or practicing chants, cheers and dances or sign painting so not too many strenuous activities.........So do they have to shower at school and go from there?
Lucky! I wish cheer could count as a course for my hsCheerleading is a class at my school, so about 5 hours a week
