How To Get Captain?!

Hi everyone,
I am currently on my high school and allstar team. I am trying out for captain for my high school team. Our coach is Picking two captains and I need some advice on how She cam recognize me. I work very hard and I have a deep passion for cheer. Thanks :)

to be a captain you have to show leadership. if you see someone who needs help or could use some advice make sure you are there to help!

Be helpful without being a know it all or bossy. Be receptive to others but don't be a pushover. Don't sit around and gossip or be lazy at practice. Take the initiative and work to make yourself and your teammates better.

It's a balance of being a leader without coming across as a power hungry butthole.
