OT How Tos On Facebook?

does anyone know how to block people from your newsfeed? i don't want to delete/block them as friends, i just can't handle some of the crap they put on facebook. I have some friends that don't like to follow the grandma rule, among other things...

When you scroll to the right of their news feed an x should appear...click the x it should then give you the option to hide them

I had to do that with some of the people who added me..I DON'T need to watch HS drama (or college kids ACTING like HSers and causing drama) on my facebook. I'm officially too old for that..
