I coach a JV team and were getting ready to send out our music requests and ive been doing a lot of searching and thinking but i need some help.
Our team name is Ballston Spa High School, JV and our mascot is the scotties and our colors are purple and gold. Our theme for our routine is basically "royal" "queens" a were better than you theme haha :]
I know i want part of the song royals by lorde and swagger jagger by cher lloyd and i want a voice over at the end of our dance that says We own the crown...Ballston! or something along those lines similar to senior elites ending voice over. But i need help with more royal music anything that says queen or royal or majesty something like that and then some cute voice over ideas.
anything helps! and it will be greatly appreciated...Thanks!

I would avoid making anything too similar to allstar voiceovers such as senior elite. You don't want to sound like you are copying them, because trust me, judges know allstar routines/music (especially well known teams from big gyms) and get tired of teams who do that. Think of it this way: When they are thinking back to teams from Day 1 of competition, You want to be remembered as Ballston Spa High School, NOT just that one team with the Senior Elite voiceover. You always want to be fresh and original, not "been there, done that, allstar copy cat".

Some things that could go with your "Royal/Queen" theme:
Queen Bee by Rochelle Diamante (www.youtube.com/watch?v=AOe31aDRodk)
Q.U.E.E.N by Janelle Monet (www.youtube.com/watch?v=jaVrKtXC5Xk )
King of the Castle by Tommy C. ft. Trixx (www.youtube.com/watch?v=w0FaRssai1c)
Primmadonna by Marina & The Diamonds (www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gj5L9SYhoSE)
Everybody wants to Rule the world by Tears for Fears (www.youtube.com/watch?v=bAolZWG1cGE

Not sure if this will be on the new December Britney Spears Album, but if it does end up being somewhere you could use it (www.youtube.com/watch?v=iOMpurPi00g) "Royalty" Demo

Velvet's The Queen & Christina Aguilar's Vanity/Primmadonna fit the theme as well but have been featured in a ton of routines already

Quick Voiceover/sound effect ideas:
Routine Beginning: "The reign of Ballston has begun"
"Scotties will rule, let it be known. Royalty with crown, secpter & throne."
"Your Majesty" (as a sound effect/short voiceover)
A royal trumpet sound effect of some sort at the routine opening maybe?
