hi im
Looking for some advice from other coaches I have a junior 2 team and in June one of my girls had a forearm break when she was doing her back handsprings she was put in cast and rested over the summer, she is back in training now but I'm very wary of what I am allowing her to do, she has not done any stunts yet she was a side base, I have let her do some forward rolls and hand stands but I'm just not sure how much to allow her to do, her mum says she has had the all clear from the doctor but the doctor does not know what cheerleaders do so I'm looking for any advice please

I'd follow the doctor's guidelines. She's been cleared, so I assume she has told the doctor what she does. Let her work back in, but be sure she knows to listen to her body. Some soreness is to be expected, but she needs to rest if she feels pain.
