As a parent I wouldn't get overly upset over an occasional word here and there. It would really depend on the context. As a coach I would never intentionally

swear at an athlete.

For me a coach should NEVET swear at an athlete...there are other ways of expressing your frustration or opinon. Well that's the way I work anyways
