@Just-a-Mom
It is my understanding this is exactly how it works- which makes it "fair" for everyone: you get what you need.
I was just reading CSG's bid info and it says a maximum of $650 a person. So it sounds like they give you just what you need.
what if florida teams get a full paid? haha they dont need flights..
quite a few Florida teams have been to worlds on a paid bid, actually. for years.
ha i know they can get them, its just funny.
Since we are talking about special treatment... everyone agrees that Florida/Hawaii/Southern California teams that win should get swim suits instead of jackets bc its not cold there. lol
why......
the point of a paid bid is, of course, to fund the trip. But you can't imitate the prestige of EARNING a full paid bid. Generally, teams that receive full paid bids have a good chance of doing very well at worlds. It gives the team a label.....that they're something to look at and that they have a shot.
i'm sorry......you're just degrading the idea of a FL team even trying to get a full paid bid.
