Why do I get the feeling someone is enjoying all the drama, enjoying feeding into the drama and loves the fact they are "in the know"?

Isn't that the Fierce board way? I can think of quite a few situations where certain people were overly enjoying being "in the know" - there's never been a gossipy thread on here that the few people who knew what was going on didnt enjoy their few days of lording it over the rest of the board. Its SOP around here.

So you have talked to both owners? And are you saying these kids left for no reason? Just want to be clear. And you have been to cheer command when? You saw how many practices this year? You have talked to anyone besides the one owner?

I think your original question was whether it was closing. Asked and answered. It's not. Beyond that what's your point?

Agreed. Though I think there's a difference between enjoying being in the know and causing/feeding drama. It seems anytime there is an opinion posted in support of or in defense of CC, a fired up response is at the ready.

this may be the first time we don't agree. there have been much worse threads that didn't get locked. As long as nobody gets suckered into the drama pool, there are some of us who really are interested in hearing what is happening.

These kids did not want to leave Cheer Command and gave the owners the chance to come to a solution on the money problems at CC, but that didn't happen and once the season starts it would have been to late. This is directly from someone on generals she is my cousin. For all the rumors of them closing they are very real and people with a great reputation on here can confirm.

Just curious, are you a still a General? Maybe I misread a previous thread/post re: you "being on the floor with your team" last year. Until UA or CCR sends their paying customers an e-mail announcement, it really doesnt matter at this point. I hope it worls out for everyone involved.

First of all I want to let everyone know cheer command is one of the most amazing and steady gyms in IL. I truly only wish the best for this program. People are making things up and assuming what is going on when we really have no clue what is happening. Go to the main source if you want information... if you truly need to know. Pick up the phone and call the gym to get the accurate information.

Cheer command is a class act and will always be one of the most respected gyms in IL.

Your statement, go to the main source if you want information is right on. However, since one owner has been gone for more than 2 months, paying customers should be demanding a meeting with BOTH owners to get a clearer picture of what exactly is going on and where the gym is going from there. To have an entire team walk out should be having anyone still in that program asking tough questions and demanding answers based on fact. Receiving emails that say, yes there are rumors going around, but not to worry we are stronger than ever, is NOT an answer. Until one owner is legally bought out, two owners should be involved in all decision making in that program and right now that is not the case.

Not really sure why this thread would need to be locked.

No longer on Generals but have many good friends still and you are not hearing the whole story. It will all Come out. Generals demanded a meeting with both owners and didn't get one, they would meet together. This is tons of physical evidence the generals saw before they made this decision. Do you really think Craig would have taken this team without talking to both owners without verifying what is going on? I know he did. Not only did every general support this even ex generals did. Why would seniors of 8 years of CC leave there last year and risk everything? And UA has announced this team is for real at UA. Not one kid wanted to leave CC this was only option I was told by 6 girls I cheered with on team and I back them.

@icheergirl why did you start this thread if you had all of the information? You are answering your own question that started this whole thread, and it just kind gives an impression of a terdstirrer from my perspective. Go to the "get this" thread and see how that all went down for the poster that started that thread..... :confused::eek::rolleyes:

So what are the facts? The only fact I've seen is that it's a good program with good people. I'm sad for them if things are in turmoil. Threads like this piqué my interest because I cringe knowing a long established program with a clean reputable history can be dragged through the mud at the first sign of major change.
