So since we all know that tumbling is worth basically nothing anymore in the international division is it worth it to push yourself to learn skills above and beyond a whip double?

lets just say for example that I am a 16 yr old male I can do a whip double in both standing and running tumbling is it worth the risk of injury, risk a deduction at comp, time training a full or double double when just two short years later if you want to continue in cheer tumbling means so little in the intl division and in college a full is the limit. What would be the motivation?

Self improvement is the motivation for most boys I know. It's the same reason that a boy on my college team is working specialties to double. He can never compete them, but he likes to know he can do them.

Tumbling may not be worth as much in the senior division, but it still matters. It affects the overall look and feel of a routine.
